11 November. This was going to be a long
flying day, as we were leaving Namibia for South Africa and had to land
at airports of entry in both countries. So, to avoid the afternoon
thermals, we got up just before dawn to find a springbok grazing outside
our chalet.
We took off at 07:40 a.m. and flew low over the Fish River Canyon on our
way to Keetmanshoop.
