Chantemer: Blue Bay's best kept secret

It was a pleasant flight in fine weather, the arrival formalities in Mauritius went smoothly, and soon we were installed at the Chambre d'Hôte ‘Chantemer‘ in Blue Bay near the airport. 'Chantemer' is a lovely house owned and run by Indra. It’s located right by one of the most beautiful beaches on Mauritius which we could see from the terrace in front of our room on the first floor. Indra only has a few rooms to rent so one needs to book well in advance. We just had time for a swim and a stroll along the beach before the sun went down.
28 April. We’re sure we won’t have internet access at the b&b where we’ll be staying tonight in Réunion and Flemming was anxious to send an email to FSI (our clearance agent in Germany) so they can work on our Iran and Yemen clearances. There was no internet access from our room but Indra kindly let Flemming use her computer. Then we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on Indra’s terrace before heading for the airport.
