Hi Flemming, congratulations again. It is fascinating and stimulating as well to read your logbook. Meanwhile some Mooneys are eager to fly to Geneve on June 1st to welcome you upon arrival. If this is convenient to you please email me a note exactly when and where you will arrive. Wish you best and further happy landings Bernd

Hi Angela, hi Flemming. Fascinating reading! Congratulations to your achievments and to the big one back to California. I remember vividly the winds, the turbulence and the rather uncomfortable ride I had just two years ago when flying from San Francisco to Maui. I wish you both the very best for the reminder of your flight. Fly safe HG and Sibyl Schmid

Flemming and Angela, Congratulations on completion of your well-planned and safe flight from Hilo to California. Unfortunately, I was in San Diego when you were in Hawaii, and then I was back in Hawaii when you were in San Diego. Really sorry that we missed you on your way around the world. My wife, Lily, and I had gone to visit our children and grandchildren, and I had also gone to Flight Safety International to attend further recurrent training for the Cessna 421 that I fly here in Hawaii. Bob Reiss, another Bonanza owner who lives in San Diego, is planning an around the world trip in June and has encouraged me to go with him but I may not be able to do it at this time. Good luck and have fun as you continue back to your departure destination. Tailwinds and Aloha from Hawaii, Willie Tashima

Det kunne ellers have været spændende at møde jer. De kærligste hilsener og fortsat held og lykke på rejsen fra kusine Ulla og familie.

Congrats on the long haul. Technically, you have completed the RTW, California to California, even if spread over a few years. Met Claude and crew at Warbirds over Wanaka. He was the first to inform me of your arrival in mainland USA. SNE performed as required, and had an uneventful trip south and just back 2 days ago. Ray

Hi,Flemming. Now in Japan, the cherry trees are in full blossom. In japan, there is a custom that we have party under cherry trees with viewing cherry blossom. A few days ago, I joined party and had joiful time. I wonder if there is cherry tree in Hawaii.

Hi Flemming & Angela, It's really incredible the amount of things you have seen so far. I haven't had the time to go through every site you've visited yet, but just a fraction of them makes me realize what a nice time you must be having. Looking forward to hear more about in person.

Angela and Fleming, Pauline gave me you flying coordinates. Pity missed u in OZ- I am enjoying a well deserved rest about 25 kms north(as the crow or Mooney flies)from Pauline and John. Interesting to see you have caught up with Jim Hazelton- the Hazeltons were neighbours of ours near Orange NSW back in the 50'/60s- they used to crop dust (superphosphate) my father's property, Bethune. I spent time on their strip at Pretty Plains bemused by the craziness of their maneuveribilty of the planes near power lines/fences etc! I was probably 10 at the time! Please pass on this bit of history trivia to Jim. Keep high and safe. Kate Gordon Australia

What a memorable document, your logbook. Our ski holiday went to Pontresina, Engadin, Grisons. We came back all nine just with Claire-Lise's knee with repaired ligaments. She expects to be ready for ski next season. Leif, Amalie, Rune, Marius, Heidi, Claire-Lise and Poul

Hi Flemming and Angela, Never mind all that hot sunshine - just think of the fantastic skiing you're missing! Just back from a beautiful week in your chalet in Champery - fabulous sunshine, tons of snow, great food; what more could anyone want? And the chalet's not bad either. Don't worry, we didn't quite empty your drinks cupboard. Have a safe homeward trip, and see you again someday. Judy

Kia Orana You Brave Air Acrobats: Thanks so much for a delightful two dinner sessions on Aitutaki, and the wonderous stories from your many flights. The family has arrived base 1 after a long journey home on Boeing class....not as adventurous as doing the air your way. Plenty of winter activities to grab onto here in Oslo...and what a contrast to the torquise waters of the Aitutaki lagoon! Sverre and Wenche
