- One of 11 children. Family tree from Pam Heron. It is a little difficult to decipher and has no dates but goes back to one John de Bourchier, a Judge of Common Pleas, who must be medieval if not Norman (a G3son of his married Lady Ann Plantagenet, daughter of Thomas, 6th son of Edward III. I think that this makes him judging around the turn of the 13th/14th centuries. ) The family were mainly North of England (Yorkshire, Westmorland, Manchester), minor aristocracy with occasional links to grander families. They were clearly staunch parliamentarians, one being a judge of Charles I and several having been to the Tower shortly after the Protectorate. I hold the tree in manuscript.
