"Sword is Major Gen. J.T. Hill's given to his eldest son Capt. James Pennell Hill, Nesta's father
on entering J. T.'s Regiment as a Subaltern."
"On leave as a Subaltern, he bagged 7 Tigers on foot in one Day"
